Robot Oli: tireless, detail-obsessed, and, like Bess, not licensed to practice law.
AI can't make a lawyer.
It's not a magic box. Type in a question, copy whatever comes out, turn it in: that's not using AI, that's gambling with someone's case.
We've been using AI in this practice since late 2022, before most people had heard of ChatGPT. We put in the time to learn what it's good at, where it fails, and how to check its work. We won't claim we're the best at it. We'll say we're pretty good, and being pretty good at it means we spend less time on busywork and more time and attention on your case.
Where we use it:
Research and drafting. AI helps us find, organize, and draft. A lawyer reads every source and signs everything that gets filed.
Client communication. Faster responses, clearer updates, and documents translated into plain language. You always reach a person.
Notes and case management. Meetings and calls get organized and searchable, so nothing gets lost. We ask before we record.
Court filings and correspondence. AI drafts and proofreads. The attorney reviews, revises, and puts his name on it.
Your information stays confidential. We use tools that don't train on client data, and the same rules apply whether AI is involved or not.
AI helps us work smarter. The judgment, the strategy, and the fight are ours.
